Ham Bones by Carolyn Haines

I actually listened to this book... thanks to the audio book selection at my local library!

It wasn't a book I'll reread, but it was entertaining enough. It was frustrating to figure out the ending by about half way through, though.

The recording was pretty good, though. Audio books can sometimes be extremely annoying, but this one was fine. The reader didn't distract from the story at all.

I've listened to around 20 audio books in the last several months due to to my daughter being impossible to put to sleep at night. We've cracked down on her falling asleep on her own, but she still needs around thirty minutes a night of soothing to fall asleep on her own (it used to be two hours!).

If your child has a hard time falling asleep (and you're a parent who thinks it's okay to give your kids a little soothing and love before bedtime) then listening to audio books from your library is a great way to keep your sanity!
