Good Harbor by Anita Diamant

I loved her other book, The Red Tent (btw I don't know how to underline on blogger), and it is a must read for everyone.

This one definitely fell short of that, but it was an okay read!

The Little Giant of Aberdeen County by Tiffany Baker

Our local librarian picks out books for me (which is great with a two year old). I really enjoyed this one.

Set in a small town, it's the story of a woman who outgrows all her peers (a pituitary problem).

Very character driven, it also has some interesting turns and a bit of mystery.

Loved it, and will look forward to her next book!

Push by Sapphire

LOVED it.

It's now a movie (Is it called Push? Not sure... Maybe called Precious?).

I worked with kids in poverty as a teacher with Teach for America for 6 years, so this really spoke to so many of their experiences.

A must read.

The 6th Target by James Patterson

I know that I've been reading a bunch of James Patterson, especially considering I don't have anything good to say about it. This was the WORST! Disjointed, uninteresting... uugh. Another "listen" on my trip home.

Straight from the Heart by Tami Hoag

Not great. Listened to it on audio book on a trip to back home!
